Help Kit - learning materials for children with learning difficulties

Help Autism (Association) launched Help Kit, a learning pack designed to help acquire basic notions. The kit is dedicated to very young children and children with learning difficulties. It consists of 11 different programs, each providing visual support for every learned concept.

Kids will learn by using special exercises created by psychopedagogists. The exercises will develop the following subjects: numbers, letters, seasons, animals, food, clothing, necessary objects and other essential day-by-day notions. For stimulating and developing active thinking, imagination and motricity, the kit also offers 19 puzzles (with 2, 4, 6, 8 or 12 pieces). The kit’s programs are meant for children ages 2 to 7 and they can also be used in kindergartens, for usual kids or for therapy sessions dedicated to children with autism or other learning difficulties.

The kit was developed by Help Autism’s specialists, professionals in psychology and psychopedagogy, with vast experience in interacting with children with autism spectrum disorders. Each program was created based on applied behaviour analysis principles and on the child’s capacity to accumulate, retain and generalize information easier. By using interactive materials and colourful illustrations, kids will not only learn the notions easier, they will also learn how to access their memory, their speech and their capacity to access day-by-day useful notions.
